Because either way there is work that is getting done and at the forefront of the fight against crime is not me -- or any other member of the community but that POLICE OFFICER THAT you see out there on your street -- and it really does not matter which part of the world you
are in -- within any situation there are POLICE OUT THERE AND they are the best people to support -- LEOS -- AND those who are out there to PROTECT AND SERVE -- ARE really important as well.......
I get to thinking about the fact that these people called me a POLICE OFFICER, AND I know that I COULD NEVER have been brave or strong enough to be one, that the man or the women you see is a husband or wife or partner of someone -- who is as special and as talented and as vibrant as him or her is..............................................................................

SO THAT IS more or less what I AM SAYING -- everyone has varying experiences and differing viewpoints -- but, should you air your views in a derogatory way with regard to
that man or that women on that street -- I do not know --- ALL I can say is that my opinion
is that POLICE OFFICERS BOTH MEN AND WOMEN ARE SPECIAL -- AND that the times
you do stop and talk to them -- they are nice --
Which POLICE OFFICERS have I SEEN over the last few days -- BRAMLEY -- ROSEBANK -- PHO -- NORWOOD SAPS have been out most of the day today and I suppose that the article about them lined up outside the NORWOOD SAPS POLICE STATION WAS A nice
one with a lovely little pic to match the article as well..........................................................
I think that in retrospect the public try to take some of the credit away from what the POLICE OFFICERS ARE ACTUALLY DOING OUT THERE -- I was talking to someone about the continuing problems facing the SAPS AND THE POLICE -- WITH REGARD TO HIGHLANDS CENTRE AND IT IS ongoing as it is in every country and every part of the world -- THE POLICE COME OUT -- the resolve a situation or dispute -- the next day the same thing can
occur again and that man or that women -- has to be out there in that POLICE CAR ALL OVER AGAIN...NOW what someone I SPOKE TO TODAY SAID WAS PRETTY SCATHING -- BECAUSE it was true at no time have I SUPPORTED THE CPF'S in any form -- although they are there to support the POLICE ON BEHALF OF COMMUNITIES AS WELL.................
DO NOT LIKE THEM -- because it is the POLICE WHO FOR THE MOST PART DO ALL THE WORK OUT THERE..........................................................................................................
IN JOKING WITH someone the other day about NUMBER PLATES -- THIS IS A GOOD example of how the communities are out there today -- you can get a reg number but can
you stand up and deal with something that is happening or a crime that is going down as a member of the community in the way that those POLICE MEN AND WOMEN CAN..............
I do not think that we can or do....they do a huge amount of work out there -- both that is known about and a lot that is never acknowledged as well....................................................
THEY WORK LITERALLY 24/7 okay there are shifts and I suppose that this is one of the things about their work.....but, they are out there all the time ....
THE WOMEN I spoke to today does not acknowledge it at all --- I see them and they are out there all the time virtually.......
DIFFERENT STATIONS OVERLAPPING TO DEAL WITH CRIME AND GRIME......................WHILE WE MOAN AND GROAN AS A PUBLIC ABOUT how little has been done................................I think that the SAPS AND THE METRO AND THE PROV TRAFFIC AUTHORITIES HAVE DONE A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT WITHIN THE FIGHT AGAINST CRIME -- AND I agree with the latest NEWSPAPER HEADLINE AS WELL.............
